             Special Topic Introduction



             The continuous development of photovoltaic technologies provides opportunities for improving solar energy conversion
             efficiency, stability, and practical applicability. This Special Issue focuses on recent advances in emerging photovoltaic
             systems, including perovskite solar cells, organic solar cells, and inorganic thin-film solar cells, with an emphasis on
             photovoltaic materials, interface engineering, device optimization, and the understanding of underlying mechanisms.

             The articles collected in this Special Issue cover several important aspects of photovoltaic research, including the
             development of perovskite solar cells for specific application scenarios, optimization of device performance through additive
             engineering and machine learning-assisted approaches, molecular and interfacial modification strategies for enhancing
             organic photovoltaic devices, as well as compositional and doping regulation of antimony-based thin-film solar cells to
             improve charge transport and photovoltaic performance.

             By combining perspectives from materials science, chemistry, and device physics, this Special Issue provides insights into
             the relationship between material design, interface properties, and device performance. The collected studies contribute to
             a better understanding of emerging photovoltaic technologies and offer useful strategies for the development of efficient,
             stable, and sustainable solar energy conversion systems.
