Prof. Zhipeng Kan (Guangxi University)
Prof. Zhipeng Kan is a Professor at the School of Physical Science and Technology,
Guangxi University. From 2003 to 2015, he completed his undergraduate and
doctoral studies at Guangxi University, the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese
Academy of Sciences, and Politecnico di Milano. He has conducted research at the
Solar Center of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST),
Saudi Arabia, and the Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology,
Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on organic optoelectronic
materials and device physics. He has led and participated in several research
projects, including the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of
Sciences, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Program
projects, and the Guangxi Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Young
Scientist Program and Key Projects. As a corresponding author, he has published
more than 50 SCI-indexed papers in prestigious journals, including Energy &
Environmental Science, Advanced Functional Materials, Angewandte Chemie
International Edition, Advanced Energy Materials, eScience, Materials Science
and Engineering R: Reports, and Nano-Micro Letters.
Prof. Cong Liu (Guangxi University)
Prof. Cong Liu is an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the School
of Resources, Environment and Materials, Guangxi University. He received
his master’s degree from Nanchang University under the supervision of Prof.
Yiwang Chen, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young
Scholars and Party Secretary of Gannan Normal University, and obtained his
Ph.D. degree from Jinan University under the supervision of Prof. Yaohua Mai, a
distinguished expert under the first batch of the National Recruitment Program of
Global Experts, Member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese
People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Director of the Institute of New
Energy Technology at Jinan University. His research mainly focuses on high-
efficiency perovskite solar cells and compound thin-film solar cells. He has led
several research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of
China (NSFC) Young Scientists Fund, a sub-project of the National Key Research
and Development Program of China, the Guangxi “Qingmiao” Talent Program,
and the Guangxi Natural Science Foundation Youth Program. As the first and
corresponding author, he has published more than 20 SCI-indexed papers in
leading journals, including Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Energy
& Environmental Science, Advanced Functional Materials, Journal of Energy
Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering Journal.
