Topic: Role of Non-Coding RNA in Cancer Drug Resistance
Professor Tang is a distinguished expert in the molecular mechanisms
of malignant tumor development and metastasis. Recognized as one of
the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” for his scientific impact in both 2023
and 2024, Professor Tang has made significant contributions to cancer
research and education.
Over the years, Professor Tang has mentored more than 30 PhD students,
master’s students, postdoctoral fellows (both basic and clinical), and
visiting scholars. He has led six projects funded by the National Natural
Science Foundation of China (NSFC), as well as key projects supported
by provincial and municipal agencies, including the Guangdong-
Prof. Hailin Tang Foshan Joint Fund and Guangzhou’s Key R&D Program. His research
Sun Yat-sen University achievements have earned him two second-class awards for scientific
Cancer Center, Guangzhou, and technological advancements in Hunan Province, a third-class award
Guangdong, China. in Guangxi Province, and seven authorized national invention patents.
Professor Tang has published over 60 SCI papers as corresponding
author in high-impact journals such as Molecular Cancer, Drug
Resistance Updates, Advanced Science, Nature Communications,
Journal of Hematology & Oncology, Cell Death & Differentiation, and
Research.
In addition to his research and teaching, Professor Tang serves as
an expert reviewer for major funding agencies, including NSFC and
provincial foundations in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hunan, and
Hubei, as well as for municipal programs in Guangzhou and Dongguan.
Professor Tang’s dedication and achievements have positioned him as a
leading figure in cancer research, fostering innovation and collaboration
in the fight against malignant diseases.
