Dr. Antonio Nenna is a cardiac surgeon and researcher
at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Campus
Bio-Medico University in Rome. His work spans clinical
cardiac surgery, bleeding management in surgery, and
innovative biomaterials — for example, he investigates
the use of bioresorbable scaffolds in cardiovascular
surgery. He is also involved in translational research
