Cardiovascular Surgery at Beijing Anzhen Hospital,
Vice Chairman of the Department of Cardiac Surgery
at Capital Medical University, and Vice Chairman
of the Clinical Center for Aortic Disease at Capital
Medical University in Beijing, China. He is a leading
cardiovascular surgeon specializing in aortic diseases
and complex cardiac surgery. He directs the Division of
Cardiovascular Surgery at Beijing Anzhen Hospital and
Dr. Junmin Zhu, MD, PhD plays a key role at the Clinical Center for Aortic Disease.
His research focuses on high-risk aortic surgery,
Beijing Anzhen Hospital, Capital Medical University, perioperative care, and outcomes after procedures such

Dr. Haiou Hu is a senior cardiothoracic surgeon (chief
physician) at the Aortic Surgery Center (Zone II)
of Beijing Anzhen Hospital. He holds an MD and a
PhD, and has over ten years of clinical and research
experience in adult heart and large-vessel (aortic)
surgery. Dr. Hu specializes in treating complex aortic
diseases, including aortic dissection, thoracoabdominal
aortic aneurysm, redo aortic surgery, and complications
following stent-grafting. He has participated in more
than 1,000 aortic dissection surgeries. In addition to his
clinical work, Dr. Hu has contributed to national-level
