Topic: Surgical Techniques in
Robotic Surgery
Dr. Farid Gharagozloo is Professor of Surgery at the
University of Central Florida and the Surgeon-in-Chief
of the Institute For Advanced Thoracic Surgery. He has
published over 200 papers and is the Senior Editor of the
Textbook of Robotic Surgery. His clinical and research
interests include Robotic Thoracic Surgery, Surgery for
Benign and Malignant Esophageal Disorders, and Surgery
for Advanced Thoracic Malignancies. Dr. Gharagozloo is
the President of the Society of Robotic Surgery, Director
Farid Gharagozloo, at the International Society of Minimally Invasive
MD, FACS Cardiothoracic Surgery and Diplomat of the American
Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is the first surgeon of
Center for Advanced Thoracic any specialty to be recognized as Robotic Surgeon of
Surgery, Global Robotics Institute, Excellence by the Clinical Robotics Surgery Association.
