Special Issue Introduction

The field of minimally invasive pancreatico-biliary surgery has seen significant advancements recently,

biliary disorders rises globally, the shift towards less invasive surgical approaches has led to enhanced
patient outcomes and expanded treatment options.

This special issue of Mini-invasive Surgery presents the latest developments in minimally invasive
pancreatico-biliary surgery. It focuses on the cutting-edge laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques that
have revolutionized the management of complex conditions such as pancreatic cancer, biliary tract diseases,
