                                           Dr. Yuman Fong


                                           Dr. Fong is a renowned expert in surgical oncology, holding the
                                           Sangiacomo Family Chair in Surgical Oncology at the Department of
                                           Surgery. He is also the Chair and Professor of Surgery, as well as the
                                           Director of the Center for International Medicine and the Center for
                                           Surgical Innovation. His clinical expertise includes the management of
                                           metastatic colon or rectal cancer to the liver, pancreatic cancer, liver
                                           cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, neuroendocrine tumors, gallbladder
                                           cancer, and bile duct cancer.


                                           Dr. Fong’s research primarily focuses on gastrointestinal cancers. He
                                           leads clinical teams specializing in bile duct cancer, gallbladder cancer,
                                           liver cancers liver tumors, as well as pancreatic cancer. His work
                                           integrates advanced surgical techniques and innovative approaches to
                                           enhance patient outcomes in these complex areas.







                                           Dr. Edward Lin


                                           Dr. Lin is a recognized expert in esophageal, stomach, bowel, and robotic
                                           surgery, and is the Chief of the Division of General and GI Surgery at
                                           Emory University School of Medicine. He also specializes in bariatric
                                           surgery, having served as the Surgical Director of the Emory Bariatric
                                           Center from 2006 to 2021.

                                           Dr. Lin actively travels to teach laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques,
                                           is involved in research on the role of gut hormones in appetite control and
                                           diabetes, and pioneered single-incision laparoscopic techniques for colon
                                           and solid organ surgery. He was the first surgeon in the U.S. to perform
                                           endoscopic plication for gastroesophageal reflux at Emory University
                                           Hospital Midtown in 2004.

                                           His postgraduate training includes a general surgery residency at Long
                                           Island Jewish Medical Center and New York Hospital Medical Center
                                           of Queens, fellowships in the Laboratory of Nutrition and Surgical
                                           Metabolism at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical College,
                                           and in the Division of Surgical Sciences at Robert Wood Johnson Medical
                                           School, as well as a laparoscopic and GI surgery fellowship at Emory
                                           University Hospital. He also earned an MBA from Goizueta Business
                                           School at Emory University in 2012.
