                                           Prof. Feng Shi received her bachelor’s degree and
                                           master’s degree from Jiangsu Normal University in 1998
                                           and 2004, respectively. She received her Ph.D. degree in
                                           2013 at Soochow University and the University of Science
                                           and Technology of China under the joint supervision of
                                           Prof. Shu-Jiang Tu and Prof. Liu-Zhu Gong. During this
                                           period, Prof. Shi spent half a year working as a visiting
                                           scholar in the group of Prof. Teck-Peng Loh at Nanyang
                                           Technological University. She started her independent
                                           career in 2013 and was appointed a Full Professor at
                                           Jiangsu Normal University in 2015. In addition, she was
                                           appointed as a Distinguished Professor at Changzhou
                                           University in 2022.


                                           Her  research  interests  focus  on  organocatalytic
                                           asymmetric reactions for constructing chiral heterocyclic
                                           frameworks, particularly the construction of chiral indole-
                                           based scaffolds. She has published more than 130 papers
                                           as a corresponding author in peer-reviewed international
                                           journals, such as Acc. Chem. Res., J. Am. Chem. Soc.,
                                           Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Fund. Res., Sci. China Chem.,
                                           Chin. J. Chem., ACS Catal., Org. Lett., Chem. Commun.
                                           She was selected as the Elsevier “2021 & 2022 Highly
                                           Cited Chinese Researcher”. She is supported by the
                                           National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars
                                           from the National Natural Science Foundation of China
                                           and received the Outstanding Youth Funds of Jiangsu
                                           Province. She has received some awards and honors
                                           such as the Natural Science Award of Jiangsu Province,
                                           the NHU-CJC Innovation Award, the Thieme Chemistry
                                           Journal Award, and the Asian Core Program Lectureship
                                           Award.
