penile coverage. The intricacies of the surgical technique are not universally agreed upon, and variation
is widespread. It is difficult to optimize and generalize surgical approaches and postoperative care for this
condition, as published reports often include few patients and fail to take into account patient satisfaction
and QOL. The development of disease-specific QOL questionnaires and outcome measures will assist with
future studies and improve the counseling of and care for patients with AABP.
