                                                          Dr. Salvador Gonzalez, accredited Full Professor by the
                                                          Quality and Accreditation Evaluation Spanish Agency,
                                                          serves as Associate Professor of Medicine Department at
                                                          Alcala University in Madrid, Spain and Visiting Faculty
                                                          Member in the  Dermatology Service  at  the  Memorial
                                                          Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA. Dr.
                                                          Gonzalez also joined the faculty of the Dermatology
                                                          Department at Harvard Medical School, Boston for
                                                          over 10 years. Dr. Gonzalez research interests focused
                                                          on skin cancer chemoprevention, photoprotection and
                                                          optical diagnoses. His scientific contribution has a hirsch
                                                          factor of 29, a total number of citations of 2,421 and an
                                                          accumulated total impact factor of 390.933. Working
                                                          within photoprotection, Salvador leads  a new  area of
                                                          interest for cutaneous cancer prevention, oral or systemic

                                                          among others), and has resulted in the publishing of more
                                                          than 220 peer reviewed papers and over 40 chapters
                                                          in Dermatology. Salvador has been editor of 4 books
                                                          (two on Confocal Microscopy and the third on General
                                                          Dermatology), and he owns 8 international patents. He
                                                          also serves on the Editorial Boards of various prestigious
                                                          scientific journals and has delivered numerous lectures
                                                          including named lectureships.
