Dr. Marc Jeschke is an internationally recognized expert
in translational burn research. He is particularly known for
seamlessly integrating basic and clinical science, effectively
bridging the gap between laboratory discoveries and patient
care. Since 2010, he has led the Ross Tilley Burn Centre at
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, transforming it into
one of North America’s top institutions for burn care. In
recognition of his scientific leadership and contributions to the
field, Dr. Jeschke was elected President of the Shock Society

this prestigious role. His research primarily focuses on the
