Chen Peng is a Level II Professor and the Deputy Dean of the School
of Mechatronic Engineering and Automation at Shanghai University, and
also serves as the Director of the Networked Control Research Center. His
main research focus is networked control systems. He has been selected
for the National Hundred, Thousand, Ten-Thousand Talents Project and
recognized as an “Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Expert with
Exceptional Contributions”. He has also been honored with titles such as
“Oriental Scholar” from Shanghai, recipient of “Pujiang Talent Program”,
and “Outstanding Academic Leader of Shanghai”. He is listed as a Highly
Chen Peng Cited Researcher globally (2020-2024) and in China (2014-2024). Chen
Peng is an IEEE Senior Member and serves as the Chair of the IEEE IES
Technical Committee on Network Control and Applications, the Chair of
the IEEE PES Technical Committee on Intelligent IoT and Control (China),
the Director of the Technical Committee on Life System Modeling and
Simulation of the China Simulation Federation, and a member of the
Technical Committees on Control Theory and Process Control of the
Chinese Association of Automation. He has led one National Key R&D
Program, six National Natural Science Foundation projects (including one
key project), one project funded by the Ministry of Industry and Information
Technology, and over 20 provincial and ministerial-level projects.
Hongtian Chen is an Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong
University, a recipient of the National High-level Young Talent
Program, a Marie Curie Scholar, a Pujiang Scholar, and a Shanghai
High-level Talent. He was recognized among the world’s top 2%
scientists (selected in 2023). His primary research interests include
data-driven technologies, explainable artificial intelligence, and their
applications in high-speed trains, robots, and land, sea and air systems.
He has authored two English monographs, published over 70 papers in
Automatica and IEEE Transactions, and holds over 20 authorized and
accepted national patents. He has led over 10 international and national
Chen Peng projects and received the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award
from the Chinese Association of Automation. Currently, he serves on
the editorial boards of several international journals, including IEEE
Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Transactions
on Industrial Informatics, and IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems. He
has also been invited to serve as a co-chair or organizing chairman for
multiple international conferences.
