Prof. Chen Wang received her BS degree in 2012 from Beijing
University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), China. In 2017, she
obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Tsinghua University, China,
under the supervision of Prof. Guangtao Li. Her doctoral research
focused on metal-organic assemblies, nanoparticle assemblies and
their plasmonic-based applications. From 2017 to 2021, she did her
postdoctoral research in the Institute of Chemistry at the Hebrew
Prof. Chen Wang University of Jerusalem, Israel, under the supervision of Prof. Itamar
Willner. She is currently a professor in the School of Chemistry
and Molecular Engineering, East China Normal University. She has
received the awards such as Thousand Talents Program in Shanghai (2021), National Natural Science
Fund for Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program (Overseas 2021).
She has published more than 40 SCI papers in Chem. Soc. Rev. (1), Nat. Catal. (2), Nat. Commun. (1), J.
Am. Chem. Soc. (2), Chem. Sci. (3), Adv. Funct. Mater. (2), ACS Nano (1) and other journals.
Her current research focus on supramolecular chemistry, nanoparticle assemblies and their plasmonic-
based applications, supramolecular hydrogels, DNA nanotechnology and DNA-based networks and
their biomimetic applications.
Research Interests:
Functional assemblies; colloid self-assembly; DNA biomimetic networks; host-guest chemistry; stimuli-
responsive materials.
